A hit reality television show in Africa pits 12 young Africans against some of the most serious problems facing their continent, including how to tackle the HIV/ AIDs epidemic.
"Imagine Afrika," which is on its second season, premiered on October 2007 as part of a campaign by the African Broadcast Media Partnership Against HIV/ AIDS (ABMP), a group of 53 broadcast companies in the continent that have pledged to commit 5 percent of their daily airtime (roughly one hour) to HIV and AIDS content.
Although each member produce some of the content themselves, they also carry "Imagine Afrika," which is produced by ABMP. The program features 12 contestants, chosen among 10,000 hopefuls, who were divided into three teams.
Each episode presents the teams with a problem they need to solve, such as helping a child-headed household, conducting voluntary HIV testing and counseling event, improving sanitation in an area among others. These problems reflect the bigger issues the continent faces.

Bonjour…
You should take part in a contest for one of the best blogs on the web. I will recommend this site!…
Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
