The disease is easily curable with antibiotics if they are detected in time. Apart from the different symptoms, the one other thing that is important to note regarding Chlamydia is that it is one of the most common cause of preventable blindness in the world today. This particular type of blindness occurs as a complication of trachoma or “chlamydia conjunctivitis.
This is definitely one of the most important reasons why detection and treatment of this appropriate disease is urgent. This is to prevent discomfort and permanent eye damage. This is one of the things that you must be able to understand with this disease that even though it affects and is transmitted through sexual intercourse, it has the ability to affect one of the most important organs that a person has, which is the eye.
